Monroe - Mrs. Joanne A. (Fortini) Benegoss, age 57, of 85 Maplewood Drive, formerly of Norwalk, died Wednesday December 2,2009 at Norwalk Hospital. Mrs. Benegoss was born in Wilkes Barre, PA on November 19,1952 a daughter of Jean (Simko) Fortini of Norwalk and the late Americo Fortini. Mrs. Benegoss is survived by three daughters: Cheryl Jezierski, Elisa Murphy and Cassandra Fortini, all of Naugatuck, one son Frank Benegoss of Monroe, four sisters: Donna Seal of Wisconsin, Angela Britto of Florida, Jacqueline Fortini of Milford, and Marie Fortini of Florida, one brother: James Fortini of Norwalk, ten grandchildren, one niece and several nephews. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday December 8,2009 at 7 p.m. at the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home 82 Fairview Ave. Naugatuck. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
