Prospect-Jose F. Rodriguez, 82, passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Celina (Ortiz) Rodriguez . Mr. Rodriguez was born on August 22, 1930 in Jayuya, Puerto Rico a son of the late Jose M. and Aurora Rodriguez. He worked at Uniroyal Inc 30 years and then was the owner of the Baldwin Record Shop. Besides his wife of 52 years, Celina, he is survived by his daughter, Magda Rosado and her husband Miguel of Prospect, his son, Jaime L. Perez of Colorado Springs, CO, a sister, Eva Rodriguez of Puerto Rico, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by several brothers and sisters. The funeral will be held on Friday, June 7, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 31 Wolcott Street, Waterbury. Everyone is asked to meet directly at the church. Burial with military honors will be in Calvary Cemetery. There are no calling hours and the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 26 Waterbury Rd, Rte. 69, Prospect is in charge of arrangements.
