Joseph J. Mambrino

Naugatuck, CT Joseph J. Mambrino, 91, husband of the late Doris (Halloran) Mambrino, passed away peacefully Sunday, August 30, 2015 at Glendale Center surrounded by his loving family. Joe was born July 16, 1924 in Naugatuck a son of the late John and Pauline (Cagno) Mambrino and had lived in Naugatuck all of his life. Joe was a retired employee of the chemical division of Uniroyal, Inc., and was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran. Joe is survived by his daughters, Paula Denley, Joanne Mambrino and Sandra Labonte; his brother, Lawrence J. Mambrino; his three grandchildren, his four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Joe was predeceased by his sister Viola Mariano and his brother Joseph Daddona. All services are private and there are no calling hours. To honor Joe’s memory, contributions may be made to St. Mary’s Church, 338 North Main Street, Naugatuck, CT 06770; or the American Cancer Society, 825 Brook Street, Rocky Hill, CT 06067; or the American Heart Association, 5 Brookside Drive, Wallingford, CT 06492. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Avenue.
