Six years - almost - have gone by since you left us. George and I will never forget how helpful you were the day that Greg died. You dropped everything even though is was late in the evening when we called, and broke the sad news to our parents. For that you have our love and devotion forever.
Lucy and George.
it is hard to believe that two years have passed since you left this world.....it seems like only yesterday you were a teenager and i was eight to ten and we would stay up all night drinking moonshine (Hawaiian Punch) and playing a cut throat game of Monoply....i guess i have you to thank for having any business sense at all! i will always have fond memories of our time together.

Lucy - Thank you for keeping Uncle Joe's Memory alive. We loved him very much and are better people for having known him. Only regret we could not see him more often. I too, enjoyed him as an e-mail buddy; enjoying his sense of humor daily. I keep his name listed in my address book so I think of him all the more often...
With Love, Sherri and Jim
Terri and John sent me some pictures of your gravesite a few months ago. I sent them to our relatives in TX, FL, CA and MA. It was so nice of both of them to visit you and take pictures. Where you are is so restful and peaceful as I'm sure you are.
I still think of you and miss your emails signed PapaJoe especially. I'll be making letria and fulard for our nieces and nephews for Thanksgiving and Christmas. They remember Ma and Pa making those two Portuguese dishes the best and love it when I mail the bread especially.
I've "converted" a friend's two teenaged nephews to letria. At a recent birthday party they reminded me it's almost Thanksgiving and was I planning on making the dessert for them. How could I not?
Anyway hugs as always,
