Judith Czarkosky

Prospect-Judith (Poulton) Czarkosky, 67 passed away on Friday, July 30, 2010 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Thomas Czarkosky . Mrs. Czarkosky was born on August 4, 1942 in New Haven a daughter of the late Charles and Mildred (Clark) Poulton. She was a retired employee of Webster Bank. She was the past president of the St. Anthony's Church Lady's Guild, Past president of the VFW Women's Aux. Post 8075 in Prospect and enjoyed doing volunteer work and assisting with seniors trips, she loved to take vacations to Cape Cod, Florida and trips to the casino. She was an avid reader and excelled in cooking and needle craft, but most of all she enjoyed her relaxing moments with her grandchildren. Besides her loving husband of 46 years she is survived by two daughters, Susan Neal and her husband Sean of Freehold, NY and Lynda Biello and her husband John of Watertown, one son, Thomas Czarkosky, Jr. and his wife Elizabeth of Southington, one sister, Sharon Murphy of Mobile, AL, three brothers, Charles Poulton and his wife Maureen of Hamden, David Poulton and his wife Genevive of Northford and Thomas Harry Poulton of Madison. She also leaves her eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Friends and relatives are invited to attend a mass of Christian Burial at St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church, 4 Union City Rd, Prospect on Tuesday, August 3, 2010 for a mass at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will be in St. Lawrence Garden Mausoleum, 280 Derby Ave, West Haven. Friends may call at the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 26 Waterbury Rd, Rte. 69 Prospect on Monday evening from 5-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial Contributions may be made in her name to: VITAS Hospice Care, 1579 Straits Tpke, Unit C, Middlebury CT 06762.
