Kenneth R. Butler Jr. Formerly of Naugatuck ASHEBORO, N.C. — Mr. Kenneth R. Butler Jr., 30, formerly of Naugatuck, Conn., died unexpectedly on Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2011, at Carteret General Hospital in Morehead City, N.C. Mr. Butler was born in Waterbury on Feb. 5, 1981. He was a resident of Naugatuck for most of his life before moving to North Carolina more than a year ago. He was a member of the Naugatuck Congregational Church and the Glad Tidings Church in Asheboro, N.C. He was an avid fantasy football fan. Mr. Butler is survived by his father, Kenneth R. Butler Sr. and his wife, Anabella, of Naugatuck; his mother, Sharon Douty-Butler of Naugatuck; his girlfriend, Mindy Garland and her daughters, Elizabeth and Jasmine, of North Carolina; two sisters, Stacey Butler and Hannah Butler, both of Naugatuck; three brothers, Steven Butler and his wife, Jackie, of Wolcott, Kristofer Butler of Top Sail, N.C., and Kody Butler of Naugatuck; his paternal grandparents, William and Carol Butler of Naugatuck; his paternal grandfather, Earl Douty of Beacon Falls; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Jean Douty. Private funeral services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. The Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave., Naugatuck, is in charge of arrangements.
