Pleasureville, KY-Lillian (Bernier) Walters, 90, formerly of Prospect passed away on Monday, January 24, 2011 surrounded by her loving family. She was the widow of J.ClaytonWalters, Sr. Mrs. Walters was born on January 3, 1921 in Prospect a daughter of the late Ernest J.Bernier, Sr and Lillian Mae (Frank) Bernier. Lillian was a member of St. Anthony's Church. Lillian and Clayton where the first couple married in a special mass July 3rd, 1939. She was a member of the Prospect Historical Society and Prospect Grange. She was a Cub Scout Den mother, 4-H leader and a gifted Artist. She is survived by her two sons, James Walters and his wife Regina and George Walters and his wife Linda, one sister, Beverly Woods and her husband Francis, and one sister in law, Helen Bernier. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren, Lisa Bristol and her husband Peter, J. Clayton Walters III and his wife Trinette, Kimberly LaChance and her husband Greg, George Walters Jr. and his wife Kim, Deborah White and her husband Jim, Meredith Kehrer and her husband Jim, William Walters and his wife Christy and Heidi Bastin and her husband Tim. Seventeen great grandchildren, James C. Walters IV, George Walters III, Joshua White, Kelsey Bristol, Amanda Walters, Krista Walters, Megan White, Pete Bristol Jr., Miranda Kehrer, Morgan Kehrer, Ivy Walters, Addison Walters, Violet Walters, Tobi White and his wife Lona, Sarah Bastin, Devan Bastin, Trevor Bastin. Three great great grandchildren, Ryder White, Grayson Carter and Matthew Board and also leaves several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by, five sisters Alida Lewis, Irene Gleason, Beulah Goggins, Rosemary Koller, Vyola Murphy, and one brother, Ernest Bernier Jr. The funeral will be held on Monday, January 31, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. from the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 26 Waterbury Rd, Rte. 69. Prospect to St. Anthony's Church for a mass at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Prospect Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday morning from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Memorial Contributions may be made to: American Heart Association, 5 Brookside Drive, P.O.
