Prospect-Lisa M. Jannetty, 44, passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at St. Mary's Hospital after a brief illness. Lisa was born on January 10, 1969 in Southington, the daughter of Eugene T. Jannetty, Sr. and Patricia (Rabis) Jannetty. She graduated from Wolcott High School, class of 1986 and was attending Naugatuck Valley Community College to receive her degree in the medical field as a registered nurse. She had worked as a CNA for Country Manor for many years. She was a communicant of St. Anthony's Church. Besides her loving parents of Prospect she leaves behind her loving brother, Gino T. Jannetty, Jr. of Prospect, her devoted and loving fiancé Jim Cross of Harwinton, the light of her life-her Godson, Johnathan and his sister Miranda. She also leaves her uncle Michael Rabis of Southington, Aunt Jenny Jannetty of Naugatuck, as well as, many cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Eugene H. and Agnes (Ward) Jannetty and her maternal grandparents, Joseph and Helen (Gladke) Rabis. Our family wishes to thank the staff of the ICU at St. Mary's Hospital for their care and compassion. A mass celebrating her life will be held on Monday, December 23, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony's Church, 4 Union City Rd, Prospect. Family and friends are asked to gather directly at the church. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours and the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 26 Waterbury Rd, Rte. 69, Prospect has been entrusted with the arrangements.
