Lois E. Pompano

Lois (Everett) Pompano 1931 - 2020 Naugatuck, CT Lois (Everett) Pompano, widow of Anthony (Jim) Pompano, passed away on December 22, 2020. Lois was born on April 30, 1931 in Lawrence, Massachusetts. Lois is survived by her son, Mark J. Pompano and wife Mary Katherine of Southington, Connecticut and son, James S. Pompano of Plainsboro, New Jersey, two grandchildren; Alyssa and Haley Pompano, three step grandchildren; Emily, Robert and Sarah Nadile and several nieces and nephews. Her love of music was second only to her love of family. During Lois’s life she worked for the United States Navy, the Equitable Life Insurance Company and for the Naugatuck public schools; in the cafeteria and as the school lunch director. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 18, 2021 at 10:30am at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 318 Church Street, Naugatuck. There are no calling hours and arrangements have been entrusted to Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave., Naugatuck. To honor Lois’s memory, contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, Shriners Children’s Hospital or St. Labre Indian School.
