Prospect - Lucille (Antonacci) Peterson, loving wife of Robert F. Peterson and mother of Joanna Peterson passed away Thursday, February 27, 2014 at Danbury Hospital. Lucille was born on June 16, 1939 to the late Domenic and Mary Antonacci. She was a graduate of St. Mary's School of Nursing and Boston College. She was a nurse for over 30 years both in the operating room as well as the Bristol and Waterbury VNA. She was an accomplished artist and Suzuki piano teacher. Besides her husband and daughter, Lucille is also survived by her siblings Rosemary Bergin (wife of late Edward Bergin) of Waterbury, Donna Carroll and husband John of Watertown, and Dennis Antonacci and wife Lucinda of East Berlin as well as many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at Church of the Epiphany, 1750 Huckins Road in Cheshire on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. Everyone is asked to meet directly at the church. There are no calling hours and the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 26 Waterbury Rd, Rte. 69, Prospect has been entrusted with the arrangements.
