Naugatuck - Mrs. Marie B. (Horn) Morgan, age 73, of 71 Osborn Rd., died Friday February 26,2010 at St. Mry's Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was wife for 50 years of John F. Morgan. Mrs. Morgan was born in Glasgow, Scotland on March 5,1936 daughter of the late Peter and Georgina Horn. She worked for many years as a dress maker and designer and also formerly worked at H&R Block, U.S. Cap, Kmart, Singer Sewing Machines and Joann's Fabrics. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and preaching. Besides her husband, Mrs. Morgan is survived by two daughters: Juliet M. Hande and her husband Claude of Prospect and Elizabeth-Ann Makadi and her husband Alexander of Naugatuck, a son: Peter A. Morgan and his wife Sherry of Torrington and two grandchildren: Justin Morgan and Zachary Hande. A memorial talk will be held on Saturday March 6,2010 at 2 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses 49 Bowman Dr. Naugatuck. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home 26 Waterbury Rd. Route 69 Prospect on Friday March 5,2010 from 5 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses 49 Bowman Dr. Naugatuck, Ct. 06770 or to theWatchtower and Bible and Tract Society 25 Columbia Heights Brooklyn, N.Y. 11201 Worldwide Works.
