Marjorie Caroline (Wooster) Garrett, 73, of Naugatuck, passed away at Glendale Center on Saturday, January 23, 2010 after a prolonged illness. She was born in Waterbury, CT on April 4, 1936 to the late Howard and Anna Wooster. She attended schools in Beacon Falls, Seymour, and Yale New Haven Hospital. She was an LPN retired from Crescent Manor in Waterbury after 30 years. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Edward Garrett, and her four children, Carrie Garrett-Lea of Naugatuck, Roger Garrett and his wife Debbie of Naugatuck, Paul "Andy" Garrett and his wife Jeanne of Plantsville, Todd Garrett and his wife Sandy of Naugatuck, 2 sisters, Louise Ney of Berlin and Beatrice Purdy of Beacon Falls; 10 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her infant son, Michael Garrett and her 2 siblings, Howard Wooster and Grace Alcorace. Marge was a loving Wife, Mother and Granny, as well as a loving Aunt to her many nieces and nephews. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Naugatuck. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 6, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 350 Millville Avenue in Naugatuck. Burial will be in Wooster Cemetery on East Waterbury Rd in Naugatuck at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours and the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave, Naugatuck is in charge of arrangements.
