Mary Gallucci Bridge

Mary Gallucci Bridge, 81, wife of the late Ralph Allan Bridge, Sr., passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family and loved ones on December 14, 2017 after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease. Mrs. Bridge was born in Naugatuck, CT on February 8, 1936, a daughter of the late Pasquale Gallucci and Anna Geruch Gallucci. Mary took pride in everything she did including her job at Peter Paul Cadbury and especially taking care of her family and friends. She was a volunteer for the Naugatuck Volunteer Ambulance Corp for many years. She loved to dance, ride horses and snowmobiles, and prepare great meals for her family. She was a parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Naugatuck, CT and leaves behind many of her good traveling friends. Surviving are her children, Allan Bridge of Plymouth, MN; Pat J. Bridge (Dorene) of Torrington, CT; Lizanne Bridge Lee (Tony) of Coward, SC and Jeffrey P. Bridge (Michele) of Wolcott, CT; her six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; her sister, Paula Pettorini (Jim) of the Florida Keys and many friends, nieces, nephews, cousins and an aunt. In addition to her husband and her parents, Mary was predeceased by her grandson, Ryan Murphy and her sister, Concetta Gabriele. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 11:00am at the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Avenue, Naugatuck, CT. Family and friends may call at the funeral home Saturday from 10:00am until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers and to honor Mary’s memory, donations may be made to Horses for Healing Therapeutic Equine and Nature Center, PO Box 216, Coward, SC 29530 or to the Alzheimer's Association, PO Box 96011, Washington, DC, 20090-6011.
