Naugatuck- Marie C. (Richardson) Noonan, 97, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 16, 2014. She was the wife of the late Francis M. Noonan. Mrs. Noonan was born on January 8, 1917 in New Haven, a daughter of the late James Richardson and Julia (Barney) Richardson. She was pre deceased by a son, Daniel James Noonan. She is survived by one son, Gerald M. Noonan and his wife Ann, daughters Julia Noonan of NY and Elizabeth Molway of MA, and one sister, Frances Richardson Looney of CA. She will also be missed by six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Mrs. Noonan was an officer and active member of the Glendale Community Club, a member of the Naugatuck Women's Club, and served for forty years as the organizer of the local blood drives for the American Red Cross. She will be remembered for her generous community spirit and her sense of humor. Services and burial are private. There are no calling hours. Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave, Naugatuck has been entrusted with the arrangements.
