Plymouth-Mrs. Mary (Cimino) Spadola, 85, of 396 South St. formerly of 88 Cobb St. Oakville, widow of Joseph Anthony Spadola died Sunday, April 18, 2010 at home surrounded by her loving family after a brief illness. Mrs. Spadola was born October 21, 1924 in Oakville, a daughter of the late Paul and Pauline (Daddona) Cimino. She was retired employee of Peter Paul Cadbury where she was in charge of the cafeteria. She also worked at UniRoyal, Inc. Bristol Babcock and Waterbury Hospital. She was a member of the gadabouts, and an avid reader and enjoyed her trips to the casino. The joy in her life was cooking and being with her family and friends. Mrs. Spadola is survived by two daughters, Linda Bond and her husband Wayne of Woodbury and Jane Serra and her husband Jack of Plymouth, One son, Joseph P. Spadola of Torrington, One sister, Antoinette Petruzzi of Oakville and one brother, Domenic Cimino of Watrerbury. Six Grandchildren and 10 Great-grandchildren. Several neices,nephews, grand neices and grand nephews. She was predeceased by one sister Ann Mannello of Oakville. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday April 21, at 11:30 A.M. At St. Mary Magdalen Church, 145 Bucknigham St. Oakville. Friends and Family are asked to meet directly at Church at 11:15 am. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
