Richard Dotts

Naugatuck-Richard I. Dotts, 66, passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2011 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Barbara Schwartz-Dotts . Mr. Dotts was born on February 28, 1945 in Telluride, CO a son of the late Irwin and Ida Dotts. He was retired from United Healthcare where he worked as a hardware programmer for many years. Besides his wife of Naugatuck he is survived by three step daughters, Barbara Edmonds and her husband Jim of Naugatuck, Donna Schwartz also of Naugatuck and Lynn Minter and her husband Brendan of Chatham, NJ, two step sons, Richard Schwartz and his wife Caroline of Bridgewater, NJ and Robert Schwartz and his wife Donna of Waterbury, his half sister, Marge, six grandchildren and 1 great grandson. He was predeceased by one brother Robert Dotts. Funeral services and burial were private and held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours and the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave, Naugatuck is in charge of the arrangements.
