Naugatuck-Rita L. (Pilon) Saude, 83 of 64 Westover Drive passed away on Monday August 30, 2010 at Waterbury Hospital after a brief illness. She was the wife of Jenard O. Saude. Rita was born on February 11, 1927 in Fall River, MA a daughter of the late Charles and Eva (Paulhus) Pilon. She was an avid bridge player and poker player and also made baby quilts and loved to dance. She was a communicant of St. Francis Church. Besides her husband she is survived by one daughter, Barbara Ann Godejohn and her husband (Loren) of Naugatuck, two sons, John W. Saude of Lawrenceville, GA and Charles H. Francis of RI, one brother, Arthur E. Pilon of St. Petersburg, FL, eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. A memorial mass will be held on Thursday, September 2, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave, Naugatuck. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
