Rose I. Lengyel Bristol Babcock retiree NAUGATUCK — Rose Ida "Edie" Lengyel, age 94, of Naugatuck, died Friday, March 8, 2013, at the Glendale Center in Naugatuck. Rose was born in Naugatuck on Jan. 31, 1919, a daughter of the late Stephen and Mary (Tresco) Lengyel. She was retired from the Bristol Babcock Company in Waterbury where she had worked for many years and was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Naugatuck. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her loving family. Rose is survived by a brother, John Lengyel of Naugatuck, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by six sisters, Mary, Elizabeth, Ethel, Irene, Theresa and Joanna, and a brother, Stephen Lengyel. Graveside services and burial will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2013, at 10 a.m. at St. James Cemetery in Naugatuck. There are no calling hours. The Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave., Naugatuck, is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the Glendale Center Patient Recreation Fund, 4 Hazel Ave., Naugatuck, CT 06770.
