Prospect- Mrs. Sandra Lee (Cipriano) Calca, age 52, of 23 Merriman Lane, died suddenly Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at St. Mary's Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of John Calca. Mrs. Calca was born in Waterbury on June 27, 1957, the daughter of Richard and Cynthia (Pelkey) Cipriano of Prospect. She was a member of the Living Faith Christian Church in Waterbury and an avid Boston Red Sox fan. The joys of her life were her grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband she is survived by a daughter: Kristina Calca of Prospect, a step daughter: Angelina Andrews and her husband Michael of Bloomfield, NJ, a son: Shawn Cipriano and his wife Nina of Bowie, MD three sisters, Licia Jamele and her husband Andrew of Prospect, Lara Panasci and her husband Jeffrey of Wolcott, and Pamela Mourges of Torrington, one brother, Richard Cipriano Jr.and his wife Danee of Sarasota, FL, her four grandchildren Sierra, Gabriella, Shawn Jr. and Ethan and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 8, 2010 at the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 26 Waterbury Rd, Rte. 69, Prospect at 7:00 p.m. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday evening from 5-7 p.m. Memorial Contributions may be made to: Living Faith Christian Church Missions, 69 Prospect Rd, Waterbury, CT 06702.
