Although I never had the pleasure of meeting Sharon, I have known her husband Chris since he was a child, as well as his mother, Mil, and brother Thor. My deepest sympathyies to all of you. June Olson, Rincon, Ga
I met Ms. Evensen over ten years ago when my mother signed me up for piano lessons in the second grade. She was such an incredibly friendly and lovely person, and I always looked forward to visiting her home on Monday afternoons to play piano and chat and laugh. We would talk about everything, from family to music to the daily rigors of life. It also meant a lot to me that she listened to me talk about my silly girlish whims, and would always go above and beyond to learn more about these certain books, TV shows, and movies that I would tell her about. As time went on, piano itself became less of a passion of mine; but even when it was finally decided that I would quit lessons after almost seven years to pursue other interests, I was still completely heartbroken because I knew I would miss those Monday afternoons spent with Ms. Evensen. I deeply regret that I haven't kept in touch much over the past five years, but my family and I have always loved and admired her. My condolences go to Chris and to all of her friends and family. She will be missed.
