Shirley Santoro

Prospect - Mrs. Shirley A. (Guerrera) Santoro, age 77, of Prospect, died Friday December 16,2011 at the Paradigm Health Care Center in Prospect. She was the widow of Raymond Santoro. Mrs. Santoro was born in Waterbury on September 17,1934 a daughter of the late Nicholas and Pauline (Abbondello) Guerrera. She was a communicant of St. Anthony Roman Catholic Church in Prospect. Mrs. Santoro is survived by two daughters, Dana Hickey and her husband John of Cheshire and Michele Santoro of Waterbury, a sister, Mary Fortin of Tarriffville and three grandchildren. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday December 20,2011 at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony Roman Catholic Church 4 Union City Rd. Prospect. Family and friends are asked to please meet directly at the church. Burial will be in Prospect Cemetery. There are no calling hours. The Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home 26 Waterbury Rd. Route 69 Prospect is in charge of arrangements.
