Thomas Marczewski

Prospect - Mr. Thomas Charles Marczewski, age 68, of 170 Scott Road, died Wednesday November 25,2009 at Hartford Hospital after a brief illness. Mr. Marczewski was born in Derby on March 18,1941 son of the late Charles and Antonina (Ksiazak) Marczewski. He was a graduate of Baylor University and was retired from the State of Connecticut Treasury Department where he worked as an Investigator for many years. He was a communicant and member of the choir of St. Anthony Roman Catholic Church in Prospect. He was an active member of the Town of Prospect Republican Party, a member of the Waterbury Chorale for many years, a former member of the Prospect Library Board and enjoyed cooking and traveling. Mr. Marczewski was a U.S. Army veteran having served during the Vietnam War. Mr. Marczewski is survived by a daughter: Melissa Bennett and her husband Joshua of Ridgefield and a son: Charlie Marczewski of Bristol. The funeral will be held on Tuesday December 1,2009 at 10:30 a.m. from the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home 26 Waterbury Rd. Route 69 Prospect to St. Anthony Roman Catholic Church 4 Union City Rd. Prospect for a mass at 11 a.m. Burial with full military honors will be in St. Michael's Cemetery in Derby.
