Naugatuck, CT Vera Mary Campos Brihim, 53, died peacefully on Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2016 at Waterbury Hospital. Vera was born on July 13, 1963 in Waterbury, CT a daughter of Odete Campos and the late Goncalo Campos, Sr. and had lived in Naugatuck most of her life. Vera loved her children and she was always the joy of every party, her smile radiated the room and she enjoyed singing, dancing and karaoke. She formerly worked at Clark American. Vera is survived by her two sons, Chad Brihim and Miles Brihim; her siblings, sister, Fatima Campos; brother, Goncalo Campos, Jr. and wife Francisca; brother, Vitorino “Vic” Campos and wife Anabela; brother, Joe Campos and wife Jennifer and her fiancé, Greg Trane; her godson, Eric Vale da Serra and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Waterbury Hospital ICU for their care of their beloved Vera. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, Sept. 26, 2016 at 10:00am at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 2071 Baldwin Street, Waterbury. Those attending are asked to please meet at Church. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Naugatuck. Calling hours are Sunday from 4-7pm at the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Avenue, Naugatuck.
