Wendy L. (Wilde) Bendler 1963 - 2019 Oakville, CT Wendy L. (Wilde) Bendler, 56, wife of Chuck Bendler, died peacefully on June 11, 2019 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Wendy was born on June 3, 1963 in Waterbury, CT daughter of Carol (Troski) Rybinski and the late Peter P. Rybinski. Wendy graduated from Watertown High School and worked for many years as a waitress at Maple’s and Rozzi’s. She showed her love for life through her infectious smile. In addition to her husband Chuck and her mother Carol, Wendy is survived by her children, Kelly Bendler(Chelsea), CJ Bendler(Catie) and Erin Bendler(Steve); her siblings, Darlene Corbett (Bob), David Wilde (Cheryl), Lori Rotella (Joe), Donald Rybinski, Sherri Messina (Vin), Ronald Rybinski and Brian Rybinski; her mother in law, Rita Bendler (Bob), her brothers in law, Paul Bendler (Tammy) and Robert Bendler (RaeGina) and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Wendy was predeceased by her father, Peter Rybinski, her brother, Peter Rybinski, Jr. and her father in law, Paul Bendler, Sr. Calling hours are Monday from 9:00am to 11:00am at the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Avenue, Naugatuck. Graveside services and burial will immediately follow in St. James Cemetery, Naugatuck.
