William Ferrari

Waterbury-William A. Ferrari, 79 passed away on Monday, February 7, 2011 surrounded by his loving family. He was the widower of Lucille (Dance) Ferrari. William was born on January 8, 1932 in Waterbury a son of the late Anthony and Josephine (Colletti) Ferrari. He retired from Sikorsky Aircraft where he worked as a foreman for 16 years, he also worked for Waterbury Farrell Foundry for 32 years as a machinist/superindentant. He was a US Army Veteran having served in the Korean War. He was a communicant of St. Francis Xavier Church, a member of the Knights of Columbus and an avid Yankee fan. He is survived by his daughter Lisa Ferrari of Wolcott, two sons, Kris and Kurt Ferrari both of Waterbury, one sister, Laura Accuosti and her husband Kenneth of Prospect, two grandchildren, Adam and Amanda Ferrari and three nieces. The funeral will be held on Friday, February 11, 2011 at 8 p.m. at the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 26 Waterbury Rd, Rte. 69, Prospect. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
