Michael Higgins

Michael P. Higgins, 42, of New Britain, Ct., died Monday August 30, 2010 in Bristol. Michael was born in Bristol and was the son of Joseph Higgins and his wife Yvonne of Atoka, Oklahoma and the late Rita J. (Mazerolle) Higgins. He worked as a chef in various restaurants throughout the area. Michael is survived by his beloved companion Robyn Borkowski of Southington, Ct., his four sons Nicholas Bryer of Maine, Joseph Borkowski of Texas, Justin and Jason Borkowski of Plainville, Ct., his brother David Higgins and his wife Annette, his goddaughter Danielle Higgins, all of New Britain, Ct., and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Michael's life Sunday September 5, 2010 at St. Jean Baptiste Societe 209 Smalley Street New Britain, Ct. from 12 - 5 p.m. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
