THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE ASSISTING AND CARING FOR THE FAMILY OF WILLIAM "BILLY" J. DWYER. OWNER OPERATOR OF DWYER WOOD FLOORS, LLC. OAKVILLE- William “Billy” J. Dwyer, age 55, of Oakville, passed away unexpectedly at his home after an extended illness on Sunday, September 1, 2019. He was the longtime companion of Rachel Raymond, with whom he made his home. Billy was born November 14, 1963 in Niagara Falls, NY, the son of the late Margaret (Leyden) Dwyer and her husband, Edward Dwyer, of FL. Billy was raised in Watertown and was a graduate of Watertown High School. Billy was the owner and operator of Dwyer Wood Flooring LLC and enjoyed fishing, playing darts, and was a Harley Davidson enthusiast. There was nothing more important to Billy than his daughters and he was always happiest while spending time with them, especially at family gatherings. Billy will be sadly missed by all who were blessed to know and love him. Left to remember, cherish and honor Billy’s love and legacy, besides his father, Edward Dwyer, and wife, Rachel, are his children; Stephanie Dwyer, of Oakville, Michaela Dwyer, of Watertown, Raelynn Dwyer, of Watertown, Billeigh Dwyer, of Watertown, as well as his stepsons; Christopher and Stephen. He also leaves his siblings; Tracey Goetsch, of TX, Robert Dwyer, of VA, Daniel Dwyer, of Bristol, Edward Dwyer, of Plantsville, and Jon Dwyer of Stamford. In addition, Billy also leaves his adoring grandchildren, Keyana and Lucas, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and many friends. He was predeceased by his son, Egan “Little Fire” Dwyer, and biological father, Robert Brainard. A memorial gathering for Mr. Dwyer will be held on Friday, September 13, 2019 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the O’Neill Funeral Home, 742 Main St. Oakville, CT 06779. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bill’s memory can be made to the American Kidney Fund.
