Kristy Bailey

Kristy Marie Bailey,23, of Willimantic passed away Monday, September 12, 2011. She was born February 24, 1988 in Rockville, CT, the daughter of Julie R. Glew and Karl A.Bailey. Besides her parents she is survived by her step-mother Amanda Bailey; her daughter, Amiyah J. Fernandez and her son, Devonte O.Ayala. She is also survived by her brother Andrew L. Sprague of Manchester, CT; her sister Jessica L. Bailey of Norwich, CT; her aunt Denise Wohlgemuth of Vernon, CT; her uncle Mark Glew of Vernon, CT. She was predeceased by her beloved “Papa” Milton Glew. Kristy was a devoted and loving mother to her children. She loved her mother who was her best friend and confidant and someone she knew she could always count on. Kristy was working on her goals of becoming a CNA allowing her to be able to work with the elderly. She had a joy of life and a love for all of her family and her dear friends. She was also a huge fan of Bret Michaels and his devotion to on going diabetes research. Relatives and friends may join the family at the Coventry- Pietras Funeral Home 2665 Boston Turnpike (Rt.44) Coventry, CT 06238, on Friday, September 16, 2011 from 5 – 7pm with a 7pm funeral home service. Burial will be held private at the convenience of the family.
