Robert E. Lee, 85, of Ellington, beloved husband of the late Irma (Kurr) Lee passed away Saturday, April 8, 2017. He was born March 17, 1932 in Rockville, the son of the late Thomas and Mae (Burke) Lee. He enjoyed sports and was an avid golfer. He is survived by his two sons and their spouses, David and Linda Lee of Vernon and Robert and Margaret Lee of Elkhorn, Wisconsin; his sisters, Beverly Boot of Vernon and Joan McDonald and her husband R.H.("Mac") of Ellington; his grandchildren, Christian and his wife Kelly, Laura, Nicole, Kelsey, and Madison; his great grandchildren, Samantha, Allison and Kayla; his brother-in-law, Steve Kurr and his wife Gay; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his loving wife, he was predeceased by his two brothers, John and Tom Lee; and his sister, Vera Boucher. Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family from 9:30 to 10:30 AM on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at the Burke-Fortin Funeral Home, 76 Prospect St. Rockville, CT 06066.
