Magdelena T. LaPointe, 83, of Vernon, beloved wife of Normand E. LaPointe, passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2013. She was born May 7, 1929 in Germany, daughter of the late Andreas and Maria (Theresia) Betzel. Besides her husband, Normand, she is survived by her children, Brigitte Shlatz of Stafford Springs, Norman LaPointe and his wife Doreen of NH, and Richard LaPointe and his partner Joanne Guay of Vernon. She also leaves her grandchildren, Lisa Legasse, Holly Dube, Daniel and Ryan LaPointe, Jason LaPointe and his wife Liz, and Richard LaPointe and his partner Jamie Dagata, and one great grandchild Brianna Dube, as well as her good friend, Gisele Cormier. Relatives and friends may join the family on Friday, January 25, 2013 from 10 am- 12 pm at the Burke-Fortin Funeral Home, 76 Prospect Street, Rockville, CT 06066 with a funeral home service to follow at 12 Noon.
