Ruth I. (Taylor) Lessig, 99, of Rockville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at Vernon Manor. She was born January 24, 1918 in Rockville to the late James and Irene (Lepp) Taylor. She was married to her husband Carlton Lessig for 64 years prior to his passing in 2001. She was a reading enthusiast and a home maker where she raised her 2 daughters. Ruth was a lifetime member of Union Congregational Church in Rockville, she worked at Rockville High School for a few years . She is survived by her daughter Nancy Trinks and her husband Steven of Rockville and her son-in-law Ralph Lisena of Tolland; her step brothers, George Taylor and Donald Meguda both of Rockville. Besides her husband, Ruth was predeceased by her daughter Laureen Lisena in 2016 and her brother Russell J. Taylor in 1998. The family would like to thank Ruth’s nurse Linda and her certified nurses aid Dorett for their compassionate care for the time Ruth resided at Vernon Manor. Relatives and friends may join the family for a graveside service on Monday, November 6, 2017 at 11:00 am at Grove Hill Cemetery, Grove st, Rockville.
