James E. Mullin

James E. Mullin, 63, of Milford, PA, died on Monday June 26, 2006 at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in New York City after a long illness. Born on October 5, 1942 in Greenwich, CT, he was the son of Genevieve Amlicke Oefinger and the late John J. Mullin. He was a truck driver for Hawk of Connecticut for twenty five years, and retired from Marshall’s Express where he worked for ten years. Along with his mother, he is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Mullin of Milford, PA; three sons, James E. Mullin, Jr.; William J. Mullin; and Michael J. Mullin all of Milford, PA; three brothers, John J. Mullin, Jr. of Arvada, CO; Captain William F. Mullin of the Stamford Police Department; and Robert E. Mullin, both of Greenwich; and two grandchildren, Jordan and JoAnn Mullin of Milford, PA. A funeral procession will be leaving the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, at 10:20 AM on Friday June 30, 2006 and proceed to Church of St. Cecilia, 1184 Newfield Avenue, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM. Interment will then follow at St. John’s Cemetery, Darien. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday June 29, 2006 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM. www.cognetta.com
