Aurelien Lamoureux

Aurelien E. Lamoureux, 86, of Storrs, beloved husband of the late Pauline C. (Jacques) Lamoureux, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday, March 29, 2013. He was born December 22, 1926 in Woonsocket, RI, the son of the late Aram and Matilda (St. Germaine) Lamoureux. He was an avid Red Sox and Bruins fan. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He is survived by his children and their spouses, Raymond R. and Trish Lamoureux of Marlborough, Gene L. and Marie Lamoureux of Tolland, JoAnn L. and Glenn Miller of Port St. Lucie, FL and Daniel J. and Caroline Lamoureux of Manchester; his grandchildren, Amie Allegro and Tammy Lamoureux both of Tolland and Thomas Devin of Manchester, and his recent great granddaughter Natalie Allegro. Besides his wife, he was predeceased by his brothers, Aram, Norman, Laurent and Lucien Lamoureux. Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family from 10 AM to 12 PM on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at the Tolland Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Merrow Rd. (Rte 195) Tolland, CT 06084.
