John "Bud" M. Dietz, 66, of Coventry, beloved husband of Suzanne (Wicks) Dietz, passed away at home surrounded by his family. He was born June 3, 1951 in Manchester, son of the late John and Helen (Ridzon) Dietz. Bud enjoyed camping, boating, westerns, and tinkering-he was a jack of all trades. Besides his loving wife Suzanne, he is survived by his children Michael and his wife Sandra of Ashford, Jodi and her husband Lucas of Ashford, and his stepson Jonathan and his wife Christine of Sutton, MA. He also leaves his sisters Patricia Simmons and her husband Warren, Laurie Lathrop and her husband Charlie, and Tracy Henry and her husband Bob. John was "Papa" to his six grandchildren, Tyler, Dillon, Anna, Haley, Connor, and Ethan. Relatives and friends may join the family on Thursday, January 25, 2018 from 4:00 - 6:30 PM at the Tolland Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Merrow Road (Rt. 195), Tolland.
