Margaret R. (McLaughlin) Ehrhardt, 87, of Vernon, the wife of the late John B. Ehrhardt, Jr., passed away peacefully on March 7, 2013 at Foxhill Nursing Home. She was born in Fairfield, May 6, 1925, daughter of the late Harold J. and Mary (Murcko) McLaughlin, Sr. She was a resident of Vernon for over 50 years. She attended Hartford Schools and was employed for many years at East Hartford Bakeries. She was an avid sports fan and enjoyed UCONN women's basketball games with her sister-in-law, Anna. She leaves behind three children and their families; Sharon (Ehrhardt) Giguere of Tolland, Gary and Wendy Ehrhardt of Tolland and Kurt and Tina Ehrhardt of Enfield. She also leaves five grandchildren, Greg, Sarah, Samantha, Kristen, and Amanda, a sister and brother-in-law Beatrice and Richard Corcoran, a sister-in-law Anna McLaughlin and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister Lucille Verre and a brother Harold J. McLaughlin, Jr. A truly remarkable woman, she will be dearly missed forever. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at 10 am at St. Matthew's Church, 111 Tolland Green, Tolland. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Vernon.
