Maurice E. Coulombe, of Tolland, loving husband of 62 years to Beverly Laws Coulombe, died peacefully Friday, November 1, 2013 surrounded by his loved ones after a courageous battle with Emphysema. Born in Hartford, CT in 1932, Maurice was a United States Navy Veteran and a carpenter. His hobbies included camping, woodworking and prior to a back injury hunting and fishing. Always there with a helping hand or humorous joke Maurice valued his friends, family, and religion. He leaves behind his wife Beverly Coulombe, son David Coulombe and his wife Deborah, daughters Lauryl Shearn and Diane Field; his siblings Roger Coulombe and Rachel Frisk, and his grandchildren Jeremy Shearn, Robert Shearn and his wife Shannon, James Shearn, Daniel Field and his fiancé Kristina, Kevin Field, Timothy Coulombe and his wife Liz and his four great grandchildren Jasmine, Abram, Alanna, and Amelia. He was predeceased by his daughter Patrice and his brothers Roul and Gerard Coulombe. The family would like to thank Dr. Raymond Kurker, Helen, Paula, Cheryl and Jennifer for the loving care they provided to Maurice during his illness.
