Richard William DiCapua, 52, of South Windham passed away Thursday, November 21, 2019. He was born November 2, 1967 in Windham, the son of Richard Anthony DiCapua and Jean Ann Kenny. He was a 1986 graduate of E.O. Smith High School and continued his education at Ellis Technical School. He was a proud member of the UA Local 777 Plumbers & Pipefitters. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Ashlyn (Anderson) DiCapua; his mother, Jean Ann Kenny; his father, Richard Anthony DiCapua and his wife Kathy Brainerd; his siblings, Nancy Walsh, Norine Durkin and her husband Michael, Karen Farnsworth and her husband Clayton, Kenneth DiCapua, Kelly Peasley and Kent Madden; and his nieces and nephews, Gavin Walsh, Evan Walsh, Emily Durkin, Christopher Durkin, Jaclyn Durkin, Olivia Peasley, Christopher Peasley, Connor Peasley and Justin Madden. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at St. Thomas Aquinas Chapel, 46 N Eagleville Rd., Storrs. Burial will be private.
