Richard F. Sutyla, 64, of Tolland, beloved husband of Cheryl (Campbell) Sutyla, passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2013. He was born February 28, 1949 in Hartford, son of the late Frank P. and Clara (Blazejovsky) Sutyla. He was a communicant of St. Matthew Church in Tolland. He graduated from Leicester Jr. College and later graduated from St. John's University completing his Pharmaceutical degree. He worked as a Pharmacist for 39 years and was the Owner and Operator of Cromwell Pharmacy for several years and most recently the Pharmacy Manager at the Stop and Shop in Vernon. Richard was a member of the American Pharmaceutical Association for the last several years. Besides his wife, Cheryl, he is survived by his daughters and their spouses, Lauren and Joseph Zeni of Trumbull, Natalie and Mark Smolenski of Enfield, and his brother Raymond Sutyla and his wife Sandra of Ellington, and his sisters and their spouses Teresa and Martin Sullivan of Springfield, MA and Patricia and Mark Gardiner of Rockville. He is also survived by four granddaughters and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may join the family on Friday, March 8, 2013 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the Small & Pietras Funeral Home, 65 Elm Street, Rockville, CT 06066. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at St. Matthew's Church, 111 Tolland Green, Tolland, CT 06084. Burial will follow at St. Bernard's Cemetery, Rockville.
