The Casey Family is honored to be caring for and assisting the family of Jose Pacheco Loved to spend time with his Grandson WATERBURY – Jose Luis Pacheco, age 51, of Waterbury passed away peacefully at the Vitas Hospice Innovative Care Unit at Saint Mary’s Hospital on Monday April 19,2021 after a brief illness. He was the husband of Martha Encarnacion-Pena. Jose was born November 30th 1969 in Ponce, Puerto Rico, the son of the late Jose Pacheco and Martha Luciano. He moved to the Waterbury area in the early 90’s and spent many years working as a toolmaker/machine mechanic for the Custom Bottle Machine Company. Jose was an avid baseball fan, the Boston RedSox being his favorite team and was always happiest while spending time with family, especially his grandson, Omari Pacheco. Left to honor Jose’s legacy and treasure his memories, besides his wife, Martha he leaves his son, Ricky Pacheco of Waterbury and his son, Omari. In addition, he also leaves his five brothers and 2 sisters. A Memorial Gathering for Mr. Pacheco will be held on Monday, April 26th 2021 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Service 1987 East Main Street, Waterbury, CT.
