Arbella Fitchett, 85, passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2020, at Beebe Medical Center in Lewes, Delaware.  She was born in Camden, New Jersey, and eventually migrated to Virginia, then settled in Delaware.  Arbella, affectionately known as “Della” and “Bella”, was the surviving sibling of three brothers and two sisters.  Della loved cooking, especially preparing delicious sweet potato pies. Della, most assuredly loved serving the Lord.  Her life was spent in service to Him, most recently at Emmanuel Full Gospel Ministry, in Laurel, Delaware, under the leadership of Apostle Diann Alexander. Della was most fond of her pastor. Della was a hard worker and taught her children to do the same. She was proud of the fact that she raised two grandsons, Kenneth Burke and Kevin Williams. Della is survived by five children, Theodore Heath (Cynthia) of Salisbury, Maryland, William Fitchett of Salisbury, Maryland, Barbara Byrd of Pocomoke City, Maryland, Linda Long of Georgetown, Delaware and Carolyn Phillips of New Bern, North Carolina.  Della had many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she loved and they loved her. She will be sorely-missed by her family and most especially, her Emmanuel’s Full Gospel Ministry church family.
