Kenneth Levi West, 56, son of the late Elizabeth West and the late John Crippen, was born on May 19, 1963, in Seaford, Delaware. He was raised in Laurel, Delaware. Kenneth lost his courageous battle with Cancer and died peacefully at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital on August 5, 2019. Kenny received his education through the Laurel School District. He worked for several farmers in the Laurel area. Kenny made a lot of left turns in life. However, he made the right turn when he received Christ as his personal Savior while at James T. Vaughn Correctional Center in Smyrna, Delaware. After his release, he attended Brooker Street Church of God, under the leadership of Bishop Marvin Morris. Kenny became a member of Grace N Mercy Ministries, under the leadership of Bishop Joyce Mizzelle, on May 26, 2019. Kenny was a humble man with a few words. He loved the Lord. In addition to his parents, Kenny is also preceded in death by two sisters, Sheila Williams-Dashiell and Brenda West. Kenny leaves to cherish his memories, a brother, Robert “Chuck” West (Reba) of Seaford, DE; four nephews: Franklin West, of Georgetown, DE, Antonio West Sr. (Nakeita) of Portland, OR, Tywand West (Kay) of Seaford, DE, and Darrin West, Sr. of Seaford, DE; seven nieces: Sharnell, Terrell, Drayna & India West of Seaford, DE, Nicole Bell (Terry) and Camika Tingle, both of Seaford and Scottiah Fisher (Virgil) of Millsboro, DE; 13great-nieces; 19 great-nephews; one great-great niece; two great-great nephews; two special friends, Rose Deshields & Harold Batson and two special cousins, Felicia Matthews & Kelvin Snead.
