Larry Walden, age 65, of Tallahassee passed away Saturday, January 28, 2017 in Tallahassee. Born in Quincy, June 14, 1951, Larry was the son of the late James Alfred and Gladys (Mason) Walden. He was an avid Seminole fan; an excellent grill master; loved music and was a member of several gospel quartets. Larry loved his family and his church family at Seminole Baptist Church. He is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Walden Lilly and her husband, Johnny of Ghent, West Virginia; two grandchildren, Carley Cioffi and Brady Griffin; his brother, Charles A. Walden and his wife, Cyndi of Pensacola; three sisters, Barbara Davis and her husband, Tommy of Lake Talquin, Clara Sims and her husband, Bobby of Belton, Missouri, Nancy Grantham and her husband, Tony of Bristol; and a dear friend, Sharon Thursby of Tallahassee. The family will receive friends 1:00 p.m. CT, Tuesday, January 31 at Adams Funeral Home. Services will follow at 2:00 o’clock with Pastor Gary Linton officiating. Interment will be in Meacham Cemetery in Bristol.
