Alton Elgar Sparkman Obituary

Alton “Elgar” Sparkman, 81, of Webster passed away on September 26, 2020. He was born on December 03, 1938 in Webster, Florida to Joseph Sparkman and Lavada (Skinner) Sparkman. Alton was a member and a deacon of St. Catherine Baptist Church. Alton enjoyed activities such as farming, fishing, working on cars, and spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his daughters: Dina (Mike) Yacuzzo of Webster, FL, Lisa (Brian) Campbell of Apex, NC, and Donna (Tracey) Griffith of Ridge Manor, FL. Alton is also survived by Grandchildren: Vanessa, Michael, Andrew, Ashley, Stacy, Lauren, Bobby, Eric, Brandi, and Gavin, 24 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Grandson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edith W. Sparkman, and his daughter Trina Serria. Services will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. at Purcell Funeral Chapel, Bushnell with Pastor Tommy Sumner officiating. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery, Webster, FL. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in his memory to a Charity of your choice.
