Brenda Louise Terry, 66, of Tavares and formerly of Bushnell passed away on September 14, 2020. She was born on September 18, 1953 in Bushnell, Florida to Lelman Shaw and Burnell (Bullock) Shaw. Brenda was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and a deputy for Sumter County for 20 years. She is survived by her daughter: Cindy Terry of Tavares; sons: Timmy Terry of Fort Lauderdale and Robert Terry of Webster; mother: Burnell Shaw of Bushnell; brother: Mitchell Shaw of Bushnell; sister: Sherry Sheard of Ridge Manor. Brenda is also survived by 3 grandchildren and her niece: Lisa Sheard of Indianapolis, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her father: Lelman “Shorty” Shaw. Services will be held on Friday, September 18, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, 5635 County Road 316 A, Bushnell with Pastor Emery King officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Purcell Funeral Chapel, Bushnell.
