Loreane Brown

Loreane Fort Brown, 83, of Bushnell, FL, passed away Monday, September 21, 2020. She was born in Wildwood, Florida to John William Fort and Edna Jewel (Key) Fort. Loreane was a retired restaurant manager with the Wayfara Restaurant in Bushnell. She is predeceased by son, Martin C. Brown, Jr.; parents, John and Edna Fort; brother, Willard Smith; and sisters: Laura Bell Smith and Claudeane Futch. She is survived by her husband, Martin Brown, Sr.; daughter: Renee (Donnie) Bland of Bushnell, FL; grandchildren: Lora Brown and Chris Bassett; great-grandchildren: Landen Brown, Mia Pearl Brown, Austin Bassett and Ethan Bassett. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in her memory to American Cancer Society (cancer.org). A Service will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. (with visitation 10:00 to 11:00) at Purcell Chapel with Pastor Emery King officiating. Interment will follow at Linden Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Purcell Funeral Home, Bushnell, Florida.
