Thomas Wohlfahrt
Thomas Sebastian Wohlfahrt, 85, of Dade City passed away on Friday, November 15, 2019 after a long illness. Tom was born in Poughkeepsie, NY to John and Catherine (France) Wohlfahrt. After attending local schools, he served our country in the United States Army. Tom was an accomplished chef and owned and operated the “Early Bird” restaurant in Sumterville for many years. He continued working in several local restaurants after his retirement. Fishing, any kind of fishing, was his first love. He loved fishing off either Florida coast and any lake or pond in-between. He also loved golf and was proud of his two holes-in-one. Tom was a lifelong member of VFW Post 10084 in Lake Panasoffkee. Tom is survived by his wife Jennie Clark Wohlfahrt, sons Butch Wohlfahrt of New York and Mark (Diana) Wohlfahrt of Kentucky, four grandchildren and all of his extended family. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.Obituary
