Lloyd Alden Ville born January 29, 1927 at the Granite Falls Hospital in Granite Falls, Minnesota to Olga and Anton Ville. He was baptized and confirmed at Rock Valley Lutheran Church in Echo, Minnesota. He graduated from Echo High School. He served in World War II as a pharmacist mate in the medical corps of the US navy. He married Pearl Henriksen March 3, 1951 in St. John’s Lutheran Church in Vesta, Minnesota. Following their marriage, they farmed in Echo, Minnesota. Lloyd then left the farm and purchased the Pure Oil station. He belonged to the American Legion, fire department, and Lyons Club. They moved to Renville, Minnesota where they owned the Renville Variety Store. He served on the church board, credit union, and ambulance crew. In 1980 they moved to Satellite Beach, FL. He was a founding member of New Hope Lutheran where he served on the church council as the church was being built. Lloyd purchased the ACE Hardware in Satellite Beach, which he and his wife Pearl ran for 15 years. They retired in 1995 to help take care of their five grandchildren. Lloyd died on August 17th, 2019. Lloyd is preceded in death by, his parents Anton and Olga Ville, his sisters Sydella and Ovedia. Lloyd is survived by his loving wife Pearl of 67 years, his son Kevin Ville, his son Dr. Michael Ville and his daughter Sophie, his son Jeffery Ville, Esq., and his wife Cindy and two children Trawick and McKenna, his son Dr. Robert Ville, and wife Dr. Susan and two children Dr. Annette and Jacob. In leu of flowers, donations may be made to New Hope Lutheran Church. Blessed be his memory.
