Vernon Fredrick Klein, 87, of Satellite Beach, Fl. was reunited in heaven with his loving wife of 55 years, Jeanette on July 14th, 2019. He fought an arduous battle with cancer since being diagnosed in 1999. Born in Devils Lake, ND and raised on his family’s farm in Plummer, MN with his three brothers and three sisters. Then drafted into the Army in 1952 and honorably discharged as a corporal, radio operator. He married the love of his life Jeanette Braaten on August 23, 1958 and had 3 children. Their marriage was his top priority , anyone who saw them instantly recognized the adoration and love for each other. Vern earned his Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and moved his family for greater opportunities from Inver Grove Heights, MN to San Jose, CA to Glendale Heights, IL, and back to Inver Grove Heights. After his children’s high school graduations; he moved to Satellite Beach, FL where he lived for over 30 years. Vern was an avid photographer as evidenced by his giant archive of slides and pictures, inspiring Jeanette to join in the hobby as evidenced by her giant archive. Vern was a quiet man of great honor and integrity. He had a deep faith in God. He was inspired by the book Heaven is for Real which gave him great hope for the time he would be reunited with Jeanette. To his children he was a hero. He is preceded in death by his parents Fredrick and Esther, his wife Jeanette (55-years), brothers, Carl, Arlo, infant Gordon, sisters Viola, Roberta and infant grandson Johnathan. Survived by his beloved sister Laura Moen (Clyde), children James, Debra Kuglin (Todd) and Sandra Kalinowski. Grandchildren: Samantha, Alyssa, Amanda, Kevin, Cassandra, Selena and J.J., Great-grandchildren Noelle, Amelia and Anella. Vern will be greatly missed by his family and friends, a finer example of a husband, father and friend in this world would be hard to find. His kindness and generosity of spirit was a blessing to all who graced his presence. Visitation will be held at Beach Funeral Home in Satellite Beach, Thursday 3pm-5pm, funeral service at Satellite Beach untied Methodist Church, Friday at 1pm.
