Mr. Michael Anthony Brant, Jr. was born on March 15, 1982 to Michael Anthony Brant, Sr. and Theresa J. Johnson in Jacksonville, Florida. He attended the local schools in Duval County and was a former employee of UPS. Michael had a love for all sports, especially basketball.

Michael recently became a member of Central Metropolitan CME Church on May 21, 2017 under the leadership of Pastor John D. Pasley.

Michael departed this life on Monday, October 16, 2017. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Eddie Lee Watkins whom he was very close too growing up as a child; uncles, William Brant and Apostle James Brant.

Michael leaves to cherish his memories: father, Michael A. Brant, Sr.; mother, Theresa J. Johnson; brother, Aaron V. Johnson; maternal grandmother, Hattie M. Watkins; paternal grandmother, Mrs. Thelma Smalls Brant; uncles, Malcom T. Watkins, Theotis Moore of New Jersey, Albert Fountain and Steve Brant; aunts, Thelma Denson, Cynthia Lewis (George), Cheryl D. Smith and Rosa Sanders (Eddie); and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

The funeral service for Michael Anthony Brant Jr. will be held 11:00 am Saturday, October 28th, 2017 at the Ephesians Baptist Church 1841 W 3rd Street JACKSONVILLE, FL 32209.
