Mary Ann Schmidt (nee Maddox), 80, The Villages, Florida passed away peacefully at her home on the morning of November 16, 2017. Mary was born in Haleyville, Alabama and called Aurora Illinois home until retiring to The Villages. She is preceded in death by Ervin Schmidt and Raymond Kavanaugh. Mother of two children and five grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at Hope Lutheran Church in The Villages on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at 2:00p.m. There will be a visitation from 1:00 to 2:00p.m. prior to the service. Interment will be at Shiloh Cemetery in Fruitland Park, Florida.
